It weaves together archival material, found footage, and original content to trace the evolution of New Age spirituality, its symbiotic relationship with emerging technologies, and its role as a tool for personal and collective transformation.

My next essay film is being developed in 10 chapters. The work is about love, alchemy and the rise fascism. Unfolding around a tripple narrative axis the work explores: 1)the gendered history of Alchemy, its relationship to self help and the contemporary manosphere 2) the historical overlap between mysticism and the occult with fascist ideology and 3) how fairytales, the occult and jungian psychoanalysis helped form the new masculine archetypes

03 RVLTNR GIRL

RVLTNR GLR is built in conversation with queer cult classic anime Revolutionary Girl Utena that follows Utena in her journey of exploration and empowerement. In this publication I wanted to explore these visual overlaps and to use them as stepping stones to talk about my own experience. This work, much like the anime, is explicitly sexual at points even including obsured body parts but never really articulates desire with clarity, an ode to actual adolecense but also queer adolescence, when things are vague, unclear and somehow mystical. Sex is holly in this narrative, it’s a magical portal, it’s something to be discovered, or conjured after a spell.

04 The World

Usually working digitally or in the form of publications, this was my first time toying with the physicality of the exhibition format.
In line with my visual language, these newest collages combine original illustration and found imagery to construct esoteric landscapes ripe with hidden references. The partially-transparent syntheses depict wild animals, plants, plastic rock formations, personal objects and items of historical significance to create small-scale monuments of the mystical and the ordinary, still-lives that utilise archetypically romantic imagery, such as flowers and heart shapes to depict fantastical scenes that are grandiosely pop, playfully whimsical and unashamedly self-referential.

05 The Lost Princess

Flirting with documentary conventions, this work is a confessional poem that tells the story of the end of the Romanov dynasty and my childhood obsession with Anastasia, the one who might have survived. Also in this video appear Alexandra, princess of Greece and princess Irina Alexandrovna who tried to change her husband’s mind about murdering Rasputin. The narrative begins with me leaving my apartment in the center of Athens and goes on to talk about class and the inevitable end of an era.

The disjointed narrative utilizes the storytelling conventions of vlogs to trace notions of nursing as a historically female mode of labor and caring as a religious practice.

NOUNS is a collection of 30 prose-poems each of which attempts to define a noun. The collection reads as a constellation of narratives, a space where the familiar collides with the fantastical to create associations that are as humorous as they are heart-breaking.

My very first post-p*rn works combine photos from my phone, found imagery, original illustrations and photos taken used as part of professional photographic campaigns. The title is a play on the "press to start" screen in the beginning of video games — alluding to opposing forces, physical entanglement and strategies for domination. These works are a lot about gender reckonings, carnal encounters and class barriers, about the act of pushing through.
